Saint-Marc beach

When we arrived, we requested a shaded area to sit in, but unfortunately were denied. The prawn starter was mainly comprised of salad and only had four prawns. Additionally, one of the main dishes we ordered, the 'Moules et Frites', was served cold and had to be returned to the kitchen to be reheated. The service, however, was good. However, we believe that the waitstaff would look more professional in a hotel uniform rather than their own choice of t-shirts and shorts.

This beach is fantastic. The sand is beautiful and the presence of many lifeguards on duty is reassuring. Additionally, there is ample parking nearby.

Truly delightful.

Plage des Dames

The beach is quite impressive, with its pristine waters and the shade provided by rocks and trees. It offers ample opportunities for shell hunting, as well as shallow waters and minimal waves, making it an ideal spot for children. While the main beach tends to get crowded, the quieter sides are a better option. It is advisable to arrive early if you wish to park for free on the streets before the beach entrance, as finding a spot at the beach entrance itself is nearly impossible. Fortunately, there is a convenient free bus service that shuttles between the beach and Noirmoutier-en-l'Île every 15 minutes. All in all, this beach is definitely worth multiple visits.

We had a fantastic experience at Villas Les Bains de Mer. Adeline warmly greeted us and went above and beyond to ensure our stay, as well as our dogs' stay, was enjoyable. We look forward to returning to fully appreciate the charming house, beautiful location, and the lively town of Fromentine. Many thanks to Adeline, and we'll see you again soon.

This beach is like a hidden gem, a little slice of paradise. Just a heads up, the sun gets pretty intense between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., so be prepared for potential sunburn. Oh, and I definitely need to check out the beach restaurant that offers African delicacies next time I visit.
