We had a great time at Playa Conchal beach. The sand varies between coarse sand on the western side and small shells on the eastern side. Although there are quite a few vendors to deal with, the beach itself is stunning.

This picturesque beach is a hidden gem, offering a serene escape from the crowds. Accessing it requires a bit of effort, as a climb of approximately six hundred stairs is necessary. However, the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere make it well worth the trek.

I have to say, this beach in Guanacaste is truly stunning. The water is a vibrant turquoise color that is simply breathtaking. And if you're up for a hike, you can climb up the nearby mountain and take in some truly gorgeous views, just like the ones in the pictures here.

Punta de Pelencho

The beach was peaceful and secluded, providing a pleasant escape from the usual hustle and bustle. My youngest daughter and I had a great time playing in the waves, while my husband and oldest daughter enjoyed exploring the beach, searching for seashells and tide pools. Although the road leading to the beach was bumpy, we noticed a few cars parked there.

Puerto Viejo

I visited a beach that had golden sand and it was amazing. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try the best red snapper from a small bar in Puerto Viejo.
