The beach has gray sand and unfortunately, it seems to be neglected as there are a lot of stones and litter scattered around. It's a shame that no one seems to take responsibility for keeping it clean.

This beach in Cape Verde is a one-of-a-kind destination that should not be missed, especially for those who love adventure. However, be prepared to either rent a 4x4 or go on a quad tour to get here. If you prefer a guided tour, you can also arrange one from Sal Rei or from a hotel on another part of the island. When driving, don't hesitate to take roads that may not look like roads on Google Maps. Although the beach is unfortunately littered, there is a secluded area further down where visitors can enjoy a nice stretch of sand without any distractions. Despite the littering, this beach is still a great experience and worth a visit, earning it a 4-star rating.

The snorkelling area in the bay is undeniably stunning, but the beach itself is a different story. It's disheartening to see the endless amount of litter scattered across the sand, and it seems that no one bothers to take responsibility for it. It's a shame that such a beautiful location is marred by the negligence of those who visit it.
