Beach is nice, though a little small. No swimming allowed. No pets on the beach. Fishing allowed on the west end. The park is large with several pavilions for gatherings and a great Purple Heart memorial. The fountain was empty when I was there.

Really nice beach! Great spot for swimming and playing on the beach. Lifeguards are observant and do a great job keeping people safe. Restrooms not the cleanest but not horrible. There are outside shower stations to rinse the sand off too. Beautiful lake views, you can see the lighthouse too which is neat

Impressively clean, shelter one bathrooms are probably the most nice beach/ park bathroom I've encountered. Just a nice spot to stop if you're in the area.

What a beautiful place it is, it is impossible to express in words…. Park of fragrant roses, you walk and enjoy such a smell that it is impossible to tear yourself away. A beautiful fountain, benches, tables and a beautiful beach. The beach has a playground, clean sand and a beautiful view of the lake, fresh air. We were in this place for 5 hours and the time flew by imperceptibly, the children have a place to play and run, but the adults can rest peacefully. Summer is starting and we will definitely come here to rest. I recommend))

What can I say about this place well a lot actually I've been coming here since I was a kid and love it here for numerous reasons one the view at sunset and of the beach in general is amazing with the Lorain lighthouse just slightly east of the park is cool by itself but then they also have a large rose garden which is awesome when they are in full bloom and the fragrance is simply amazing then they have their larger basket at the main entrance and I have to mention the big fountain in the middle of the park especially after sunset it lights up in different colors and patterns it really is a treasure for the local area I be back as often as possible😎
