During our trip to Port Clinton, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Unfortunately, the lighthouse was closed due to our visit being after Labor Day, but we still found the site to be informative and enjoyable. The beach provided ample seating options and there was even a bird trail to explore. The weather was ideal, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the nostalgic ambiance of a bygone era when lighthouses were illuminated by kerosene lamps.
The park was really lovely, and the water was incredibly warm.
This beach is an excellent destination for families. You can relax by the sprawling 100-mile lake and enjoy the soothing sounds of the beach, which can greatly enhance your overall experience.
This place is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. You have the option to either lounge on the beach or take a refreshing swim in the water. The presence of the nearby states and the charming little lighthouse adds to the overall appeal. Additionally, there are plenty of small shells scattered around and people often enjoy fishing in this area. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling along the rock pier, despite it being a bit eerie, it was still a lot of fun. If you're someone who enjoys unwinding and relaxing, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Moreover, there are several restaurants in close proximity, as well as a ball field and a small park nearby.
This park on Lake Erie is absolutely stunning. It's a must-visit spot, especially with the presence of the Port Clinton lighthouse and the statue of the lighthouse worker and dog. And don't forget to check out the I love Lake Erie sign while you're here. The best part is, there is no admission fee to enjoy this place!
