This beach is only accessible to permit holders between 9am and 5pm, but after that anyone can visit. We arrived around 6pm and took a stroll to the lighthouse, then walked along the shore. The beach is composed of two parts: one with pebbles and rocks, and the other with soft, inviting sand. The waters were very tranquil when we were there.

This beach is fantastic! It has everything you could want - sand, seashells, and tide pools - and the views are stunning. I've only visited during the off season, so I can't comment on the parking situation during the summer months. The tide is quite gentle, likely due to its proximity to the Sound.
