This beach on the North east coast of Skye is truly a beautiful spot. There is a large lay-by overlooking the sea, providing a perfect view. The beach itself is lovely, with a small stretch of sandy shoreline where many people still enjoy swimming in the sea, even in September. However, what makes this location truly famous are the dinosaur footprints found in the flat rock, only visible during low tide. On a sunny afternoon, I had the pleasure of spotting five footprints. By early evening, most of the day trippers have left, leaving space for Campervans and motorhomes to park in the lay-by and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Overall, it is a wonderful and peaceful spot to spend the night, being lulled to sleep by the soothing sound of the waves.

This beach is definitely worth a visit during low tide, as you'll have the opportunity to experience the sensation of stepping on a real Dinosaur footprint. Additionally, there are informative boards available to provide helpful information. It's quite rare to find a beach with sand on this island, so that's definitely a plus. However, there isn't much else to do in the surrounding area. Nonetheless, it can still be an enjoyable way to spend an hour or two.

The beach is beautiful and has a small car park that tends to fill up quickly. It is easy to get to the beach, and it's a wonderful place to go for a swim if the weather is good. Many people visit this beach to discover the dinosaur footprints on the rocks. Although I'm not certain if what we saw was one of the 17 footprints, it is located at the bottom of the ramp on the right side. Unfortunately, most of the other footprints were still submerged due to the high tide when we visited. However, I would still recommend making a stop here as the beach is fantastic and very serene.
