Aberaeron is a lovely little town on the Welsh coast with lots of colourful houses and other buildings. There ais plenty of parking near the beach and town BUT BEWARE the machines might only give instructions in Welsh and we recently got stung paying for a weeks parking instead of 2hours machine fault. Complained to the local council but they refused to refund the difference. Advice drive on and go elsewhere.
The beach has a peaceful car park right by the waterfront, which is reasonably priced but only accepts card payments. There is also a small cafe nearby that only accepts cash, so it's convenient to have both forms of payment with you if you want to use both. Not far from the car park, there is a free toilet available. Additionally, there is a shelter where you can sit and enjoy watching the waves, as well as a bench in front of an information board that provides some interesting facts about the area. The harbor is conveniently located just around the corner, offering a few shops and other attractions to explore on foot.
The beach area is small and covered in pebbles. During low tide, there are numerous rock pools to discover and explore. One can also enjoy crab fishing near the harbor wall.
This beach is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit. There are numerous dining and drinking options available, and the scenery along with the beach itself is truly lovely.
This place is absolutely adorable. There is an abundance of beautiful scenery to discover, and the vibrant houses add an extra level of excitement. The harbor offers numerous dining options.
