The carpark located right by the beach is free, while there is another one further down the road where you can park all day for £1, payable in the honesty box. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and it's possible to catch a glimpse of seals from time to time. The journey to the beach involves navigating narrow country lanes with steep inclines and declines, as well as 180° turns, so it's important to exercise caution. Restrooms are available on site. I noticed a few trails leading up into the hills alongside the coastline, but since I had a child with me, I decided against exploring them.

I absolutely adore this place! The kids have a blast playing in the refreshing freshwater pool. We even spotted a gigantic dragonfly! The beach is bustling with people enjoying paddle boarding in the ocean. And if you're fortunate, you might catch a glimpse of seals swimming around! It's just a pity that the café has shut down.

This beach is a truly enchanting place to relax and soak in the beauty of the ocean. It offers such tranquility. Make sure to double-check the map before your trip, as the only road leading here is quite narrow and has sharp turns.

There is a great car park right by the beach, although it is not very large. Additionally, there are free toilets located further up the road. Cwmtydu Beach, also known as seals bay, is a small and secluded bay that was once famous for its smugglers and pirates, featuring numerous hidden caves and coves. One of these smugglers was Sion Cwilt. On the waterfront, you can find a restored limekiln that serves as a reminder of the past. During World War 1, a U-boat commander landed here to gather fresh supplies for his crew. However, nowadays, the only visitors to the beach are Atlantic Grey Seals who come ashore during the autumn season to give birth to their pups.

Getting to this beach may not be a breeze due to the narrow road, but let me tell you, it's absolutely worth every second of the journey. You simply have to experience it yourself to fully understand and appreciate its perfectly secluded spot.
