The beach was absolutely delightful, offering a picturesque view from sunrise to sunset. I had the pleasure of visiting this charming location recently and was blessed with three days of sunny, stunning weather. The town itself was quaint and the locals were incredibly welcoming, even to our furry friends. It was the ideal destination for a quick weekend escape.
The beach is a beautiful spot, although there are some stones and seaweed present. It's a bit more peaceful than Shanklin beach, which is nice. The pier is a great place for children, and the staff are incredibly friendly. While the restaurant inside the pier serves good food, I wouldn't return for more. It's worth noting that the toilets cost 20p to use, but unfortunately, they're not very clean. Additionally, since there are no showers on the beach, the toilets tend to be filled with sand. It's a shame I don't have a photo of them.
The beach is absolutely stunning with its pristine sandy shores. The cleanliness of the beach is commendable. I visited during a heat wave and it was a delightful experience to dip my feet in the cool sea water. The beach was bustling with activity, with people indulging in paddle boarding, paddle boating, volleyball, and others simply lounging and soaking up the sun. I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a fun-filled day out. The shops nearby offer reasonably priced items, unlike the overpriced and overrated Brighton beach.
I only had a short visit to the beach on a chilly evening, but it was still enjoyable. The ocean was refreshing, albeit a bit frigid, and I even managed to take a quick dip. The pier has a charming vintage feel and offers plenty of picturesque spots for photos. Additionally, the beach features some stunning memorial plaques. While it could use some sprucing up, particularly in terms of maintenance, I imagine it would be a lovely spot to visit on a warm summer day.
I had an amazing time at the beach! It was like a trip down memory lane to my childhood. The pier was especially impressive and had a wide variety of machines and arcade games that kept me entertained for hours. Some of the machines even dated back to the 90s, which was a fun blast from the past. The beach was beautiful and the sand was soft. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're on the island.
