The beach, which is located approximately a 5-minute stroll away from Fen Farm caravan park, is quite pleasant. It consists of a mixture of sand and pebbles, with an abundance of seashells scattered about. It appeared to be well-maintained and surprisingly peaceful during our visit, despite it being the school summer break.
Nice sandy beach
The beach is a beautiful and secluded spot. It may not be very spacious when the tide is high, but there is still plenty of room. It's a perfect place to relax, enjoy the view of the sea, watch the birds, and observe the passing boats. Remember to bring your own food and drinks since there are no facilities available, and kindly ensure you take all your garbage with you when you leave.
The beach is quite nice, reasonably clean, and surprisingly has some sand, which is uncommon for that particular area in Essex.
I highly recommend a visit to this beach while camping at Fen Farm. It is the ideal spot for a hike, which takes you on a breathtaking walk through a Nature Reserve. I suggest coming here to witness the beauty of sunrise or sunset, and if you have a clear and cloudless evening, stargazing is a must-do activity.
