The stunning sandy bay and natural rock pools make for a truly picturesque setting, while the cafe offers an exceptional dining experience with an impressive selection of freshly prepared meals and convenient takeaway options. This beach is truly a gem among its peers and even welcomes furry friends with its dog-friendly policy.
This beach is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Watwick bay and St Annes Headland across the water. The amenities are fantastic, including a spacious car park, clean toilets, and a cozy cafe. The sand is pristine and the sea is crystal clear, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The coastal path is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with stunning scenery in every direction. For those who love water sports, the beach offers easy access to the rugged coastline, perfect for boating with canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards. I can't wait to come back to this incredible beach time and time again.
It's almost unfair to rate this beach because I want to keep it all to myself. It's the epitome of a perfect beach, with a sheltered bay providing a peaceful atmosphere. The sandy beach is dotted with rock pools and climbable rocks, offering endless opportunities for exploration. The water is ideal for swimming, paddle boarding, and even launching a dingy. Whether you visit in the early morning or late at night, the beauty of this beach never fades. There are toilets available, as well as the charming Wavecrest Cafe/diner. The large car park used to be free until 2021, but now charges apply for anything past a 30 minute stay. Check out the picture for the updated charges. Once you visit this beach, you'll undoubtedly want to return again and again. Additionally, the Pembroke coast path offers some incredible walks to enjoy.
This beach is truly a hidden gem in Pembrokeshire, complete with a charming cafe that adds to the overall experience. However, on particularly sunny days, the car park can become quite crowded, but the best part is that parking is completely free. The drive to get here may be a bit long, but trust us, it's well worth it. Take a leisurely stroll around Angle Head and take in the stunning views of Thorne Island, Chapel Bay Fort, and beyond to Milford Haven.
I have always been enamored with this spot. The beach is expansive, and during low tide, it is perfect for exploring the rock pools. There is a convenient cafe and restroom facility located at the top of the beach, as well as ample parking. It is an ideal destination for families seeking a fun day out at the beach, and the best part is that it is dog-friendly with no restrictions. The coastal path offers breathtaking views, making it an excellent spot for leisurely walks.
