Nice spot but zero facilities. Found my dog rolling in ‘something’ on the beach and no joke it was human 💩. LOTS of trauma. Also quite student-y, loo roll up in the car park too & don’t bother driving down as you’ll also get stuck (it’s banned anyway). Other than that it was great 😅.
This beach is easily accessible, making it one of my favorites.
The carpark run by the National Trust charges 4 pounds for a day. It's recommended to park there instead of on the narrow side roads. The walk down to the beach through the woods is beautiful. Although it's a pebble beach, it's stunning. The waters are calm, and the surroundings have a perfect tropical vibe. Trees line the area everywhere, making it amazing.
This beach is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous gardens adding to its charm. I was thoroughly impressed with everything about it. The NT car park is massive and convenient, but it's important to note that parking on the lane is strictly prohibited. Unfortunately, some people were disregarding this rule on the day we visited. The car park is free for NT members, and only £2 for two hours or £4 for the whole day for non-members. Considering the beauty and tranquility of this place, it's a small price to pay. Dog owners will be pleased to know that Grebe Beach is dog-friendly, and our furry friend loved it. However, it's important to keep your dog under control. On our visit, there was a chocolate brown springer spaniel that was constantly barking, running, and chasing after toys, which was not enjoyable for most people.
This location is one of my top picks, particularly during a summer evening when it's not too crowded. Additionally, it's easily accessible.
