During our half-term trip to Paignton, we took a boat ride from Paignton to Torquay, which was a delightful experience. Additionally, the beach we visited had unique brown sand that added to its charm.

The expansive sandy beach was a delightful sight to behold, and we opted for the serene side of the pier, where the beach huts were abundant. The surf was fantastic, and the shallow waters were perfect for children to frolic in. The esplanade was dotted with charming little ice-cream and coffee trucks, and there were plenty of play areas for the little ones to enjoy. For those seeking more excitement, the pier offered fun fairs and crazy golf.
As I sauntered up the pavement, my eyes were greeted with a spectrum of beach houses, each flaunting its unique hue. As the sun set and darkness enveloped the shore, the houses transformed into a mesmerizing display of multicolored lights. The stroll to Paignton beach was nothing short of delightful.
This charming beach is an ideal spot for families, with its gentle slope making it a safe haven for all. There are two delightful pubs offering delicious food, and the opportunity for paddle boarding is also available. For those in need of a quick snack or refreshing ice cream, there are a couple of kiosks on hand. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a thrilling ride on go-karts or cool off at the small water park.
