The beach is a wonderful place to enjoy a delightful and light lunch. It offers a lovely atmosphere to visit.
Even though I have been to Princes Golf Club multiple times before, I was unaware of the lodge's bar and dining options. As a result, I decided to take a stroll to Sandwich Bay and enjoy a drink while observing the golfers in action.
If you are playing golf at the Princess, I highly recommend staying at the Lodge. The location is absolutely fantastic and the rooms are great.
The beach in Sandwich is definitely worth the effort to get there. The service is excellent and friendly, making it the perfect place to stay for a golf trip.
The beach is an ideal destination for a golf trip in Sandwich. Our room was essentially a two-bedroom apartment, both with their own bathrooms. It was a perfect arrangement. The breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality, and the food options were extensive. We received a warm and friendly welcome upon our arrival, and all the reception staff we interacted with were more than willing to assist us with anything we needed. The bar had a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, with a wide selection of drinks. The staff, especially the manager and catering assistant (whose name I unfortunately can't recall), were exceptional. In fact, we were so impressed that as a group of three, we invited the assistant to join us as a fourth player when we played at Prince's on our last day. He graciously accepted and met us at the first tee the following morning. We had a delightful nine holes before he had to leave for work. I highly recommend The Lodge if you plan on playing the three courses in Sandwich. It's in a perfect location with breathtaking views of the sea, as well as the Royal St George's and Prince's courses. It truly is a golfer's paradise, and I will definitely be returning.
