Kabakoz Koyu beach is located on the Black Sea and it is in the 36th place out of 133 beaches in the Istanbul region 64.5 km away from its center, the city of Istanbul. It is one of the beaches of Kabakoz settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

It is very nice that the beach is free and the garbage thrown on the beach is collected by municipal teams (throwing garbage on the beach is another primitive thing). The beach is completely sandy and it wasn't very crowded when I went on a weekday. Another good thing is that, although it may not be a very well-known place (it is far from Istanbul), there were no disturbing people around and everyone went swimming quietly as a family, had fun and left. I think the shortcomings of the beach are due to the municipality not intervening here other than cleaning. Since it will not cost much, free changing cabins can be installed. Showers and toilets can be paid with an Istanbul card (as there will be water, electricity and cleaning costs). Cabins, showers and toilets are very affordable in the shops around, but they are not very eye-catching or hygienic (I only used the toilet). Eating and drinking in the shops around is not expensive either, the prices seem reasonable. Since the parking lot is privately owned, it costs money, but I parked on the road even though it was prohibited, and I found a place because I arrived early. I didn't go in because the sea was too wavy, so I can't comment on that. I went for the first time and I liked it. Suitable for family

It's good that it's free and there were only Turkish people and no foreigners. There were families and couples. We went for the first time on Sunday, the sea was very crowded and wavy, we didn't enjoy it, so I didn't like it, parking is 70 TL by the way.
