I visited this beach two years ago and left the following comments regarding the excessive use of single-use plastic. However, upon returning this summer, I must commend the significant improvements made in this aspect. Thank you! While there is still room for further reduction of single-use plastic at Aren beach, I want to congratulate the restaurant for their changes (no plastic cutlery and plates)! Additionally, the beach appeared much cleaner. :) When I visited in 2021, it was quite puzzling to see a large restaurant with numerous tables using mostly single-use plastic cutlery, glasses, and dishes. The beach was unfortunately littered with plastic waste and cigarette butts. Nonetheless, the beach has a great location, spacious area, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The entrance fee for the place is 80 TRY per person in 2022. The beach is usually crowded, but there is a free parking area available in front of it. The sea has waves and is a bit cool. The beach is also windy, and the availability of umbrellas is not consistent. The staff members are kind and friendly. The food and entrance fees are expensive. Personally, I don't recommend eating here as it is not worth the price. There is a large cafe area and bar, along with clean bathrooms, showers, and changing cabins. However, shampoo is not allowed to be used while taking a shower. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. The prices for beverages are as follows: small bottle of water - 5 TRY, mineral water - 10 TRY, tea - 10 TRY, Nescafe and Turkish coffee - 20 TRY, with milk - 25 TRY, Ayran - 10 TRY. The prices for food items are: finger potatoes - 55 TRY, chickpeas wrap - 45 TRY.
This is the only beach that can be easily reached in Çeşmealtı. The staff is friendly and the entrance fee is reasonable. They even allow pets, which is commendable and deserves a four-star rating. However, the food is average and the cocktails are even worse. I would strongly advise against trying their cocktails. Apart from that, it is an acceptable location.
I was pleasantly surprised by the negative comments. In my opinion, this place deserves a five-star rating. It is incredibly clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. The price is reasonable, especially when you consider the beautiful view. That's why I have no hesitation in giving it a five-star review. Additionally, the free parking is a bonus. There are also shops nearby.
We were advised by the locals to check out this beach and we were not disappointed. The facilities were top-notch, the shoreline was clean, and it felt very safe for children. The service was good and polite, and the food was enjoyable. There were plenty of shaded areas, which was especially helpful during the hot month of July. In comparison, if you were to visit a similar beach in the south of France, you would have to pay 15 euros just for a sun bed without an umbrella. However, here, the three of us spent £40 for the entire day, including food, drinks, and other amenities. I have a different opinion from those who left negative reviews. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxed, and clean place with great music, especially after 6pm. I would definitely consider visiting again.
