Omur town beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 64th place out of 279 beaches in the Izmir region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This sprawling coastline is a favorite among visitors residing in the local vicinity. A leisurely stroll from the beach will lead you to the picturesque Double Island. The sea is usually turbulent during the latter half of the day, although I have witnessed it to be tranquil on one occasion. The beach is equipped with amenities for added convenience. It is typically a serene and peaceful location.

The beach features a stunning stretch of crystal-clear waters and pristine sands, albeit with a considerable amount of waves. The sea's entrance may be partially rocky, with the first few steps into the water being stony, but the sandy bottom soon follows. The abundance of fish in the waters makes for a picturesque sight, even if I have yet to reel one in. And let's not forget the breathtaking sunset, sinking into the horizon amidst the vastness of the sea.

Overall, the beach is a lovely spot to visit in the morning hours. However, as the day progresses, the waves become stronger and seaweed begins to wash ashore. Despite this, the water is still a pleasure to swim in and is not overly crowded except on weekends. One drawback is the presence of rocks along the shore, which can be hazardous to swimmers and uncomfortable to walk on. It would be beneficial if the municipality could remove these rocks for a safer and more enjoyable beach experience.
