TROİA HELEN BEACH
Landscape is very beautiful. There is a bathroom, WC and changing cabin. There are 1-2 establishments that meet your eating and drinking needs. 2 sun loungers 100 TL. WC is paid, 5TL. The sea has little seaweed for the period, but it is not very remarkable. Most places are sand. It's not deep. There is a pontoon. Water temperature is very good.
When I went, pitching tents and lighting fires were not allowed. Since the businesses there are mediocre, the sand island can only be a daily breathing place for the people living nearby. Not wrong.
Located in the center of Çardak Town, the sandy area, which extends approximately 100 meters from the shore to the sea and is connected to the land by a small bridge, forms a small pond on the beach. Sand Island generally attracts great attention from people suffering from rheumatism. Citizens from all over Turkey flock here. People come here and bury themselves in the sand. It has been believed for years that sand is healing. Citizens say that they found healing on the Sand Island in the town. Turns Pink in Spring Sand Island, which provides healing to rheumatism patients, creates a visual feast in the spring. The flowers that bloom with the arrival of spring on Sand Island literally turn the area pink. Citizens are amazed by the view of the flowers blooming in the region. So, What's the Story? Sand Island, which provides healing to the sick and creates a visual feast in the spring, also has a story. Rumor has it that Sand Island was formed when a saint poured the sand at its foot into the sea. Here's the whole story... The location in Çardak on the opposite shore, today called Salbaş (Başsal), was a land covered with dense forests at that time. The Ottomans start making rafts in great secrecy. After the preparations are made, today they throw their rafts into the sea from the tip of Sand Island and set out towards European civilization (1358). A daring saint called the Red Deli Sultan, whom they did not take on a raft, starts walking towards Gallipoli with sand on his skirt after the rafts set off. Everywhere he passes turns into sand. Those on the raft who saw this said, 'Stop the rafts, this saint will block the Bosphorus!' And when they put the saint on the raft, he sprinkled all the sand on his skirt and according to the rumor, this island was formed. Sand Island is waiting for rheumatism patients who want healing…
Unfortunately, they have ruined the sand island, especially the septic tank that they throw into the sea from time to time, turning the place into a complete mess. I mean, these municipalities exist to serve the public, or I don't know if they are to be dragged into the water.
