Qidfa Beach is located on the Gulf of Oman (part of Arabian Sea) and it is in the 9th place out of 14 beaches in the Fujairah Emirate region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach is quite pleasant, not overly crowded, and has adequate lighting during the night. However, there are a couple of concerns that need to be addressed. Firstly, there are individuals who drive their cars directly on the sandy beach, posing a danger to children who are playing. Secondly, the beach could benefit from additional cleaning and sand leveling.

The beach area was fairly average, but what caught my attention was the conventional fishing taking place there. It was interesting to see this type of fishing, as I hadn't witnessed it before. I noticed that four or five old land cruisers were involved in pulling the nets.
