The beach is currently inaccessible due to ongoing development, with temporary fencing and gate barriers restricting access. Security at the gate has confirmed that the area will be closed for a year. However, once completed, the Shurooq - Sharjah Investment & Development Authority will manage the Al Jabal Resort, The Chedi Khorfakkan, a luxurious five-star resort inspired by the region's classic architecture. The resort will offer beautiful villas overlooking a secluded white sandy beach, providing a departure from the modern world and a chance to reconnect with a more traditional way of life.
If you're a fan of hiking and catching a beautiful sunrise, this beach is definitely worth a visit. It's a great spot for beginners and families alike. I highly recommend arriving before sunrise to witness the stunning view. The hike up to the viewpoint is about 30 minutes and will take you up 120 meters. From the top, you'll be able to see the Arabian Sea, Korfakkan Port, and the surrounding city. Take your time to snap some photos and videos and enjoy the scenery. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike, and remember to keep the area clean. Happy hiking! Additionally, there's a detailed Malayalam vlog available on the SIRAJFROXY YouTube channel.
The beach is great and offers parasailing and a speed boat ride to Shark Island, making it a perfect destination for a family outing.
We took a hike from the park and found two routes to the beach. The first is a shorter and easier 15-minute walk from the gravel road on the right side of the park entrance, which leads to the west end of the beach. The second route is longer and tougher, starting with steps on the left side of the park. It's about 1 km of good hiking, but it offers stunning views from the top and descends to the sea on the other side, leading to the beach's eastern end. We recommend taking plenty of water to avoid dehydration and doing the hike in the early hours of the day or evening, especially for catching the sunrise.
I recently checked out Heart Beach Khorfakkan and was immediately smitten! It's the perfect escape from the busy city life of Dubai. The water is serene and transparent, and the crowds are minimal. Plus, it's a great spot for snorkeling!
