Surat Thani Beach

I stayed at the resort for six nights and had a great time. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, with each room or suite being separate from the others. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As for the location, it couldn't have been better for me. It's away from all the hustle and bustle, but still close to many amazing restaurants.

The hotel was absolutely stunning and peaceful. We had the privilege of staying in the bungalow closest to the sea, which happened to be the one on the rightmost side. This bungalow came with its own private pool, garden, and deck chairs, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was incredibly spacious. Both the restaurant and the pool were exceptional, and the water in the sea was so clear that you could see right through it. However, the sand on the beach was quite rough, so it was necessary to wear sandals or use the booties provided in order to walk comfortably. The service we received was top-notch! We felt warmly welcomed, and the staff was always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Additionally, there was a security guard stationed just outside our room by the seaside, ensuring our safety as we enjoyed our time by the pool and deck chairs. During our stay in late June, the sky was incredibly clear, allowing us to capture the breathtaking sight of the Milky Way using only our phone camera and a mini tripod.

The hotel is really beautiful and the reception staff are amazing. However, we were disappointed with the service at breakfast and by the pool, which is why we gave it a lower rating. It was very slow and we had to say something because it was frustrating. Additionally, despite the Bean & Co menus being available, it never seemed to be open, so there weren't many options if you wanted to dine at the hotel, and the choices were expensive. The room was lovely and they made a special effort to acknowledge our honeymoon (even though the card had other people's names on it!) and my husband's birthday. The beach was gorgeous and perfect for strolling and paddling. In terms of location, it's just outside Choengmon and was wonderfully quiet. It also seems to be a convenient spot for exploring other places on the island. Taxis were more expensive compared to Thailand's standards, but this might be common for an island. However, Grab worked well and was especially useful for getting back to the hotel. There were surprisingly many children at the hotel, and since there weren't many activities available, they spent a lot of time in the pool. I wouldn't say it's particularly child-friendly, but with a few extra activities, it could be.

This beach resort was our absolute favorite among all the places we stayed during our 10-day honeymoon in Thailand! It truly is a top-tier establishment. The service provided here is absolutely incredible! Aek, the bartender (I hope I spelled his name correctly), was extremely friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome. He is an amazing employee and a valuable asset to your team. The food, location, view, complimentary breakfast, room service, floating private breakfast, and spa services all deserve a perfect score of 10 out of 10! Without a doubt, we will choose to stay here every time we return!

The service we received was top-notch no matter the time of day. I really appreciated the convenience of being able to easily book a taxi through the hotel reception. The rooms provided a tranquil and private atmosphere. The food and drinks exceeded our expectations. During our stay, we indulged in a couple of massages at the spa, particularly enjoying their traditional Thai massage and lymphatic massages, which were incredibly relaxing. I definitely plan on returning to stay here again.
