Praia do Itaguacu is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 165th place out of 228 beaches in the São Paulo region 132.3 km away from its center, the city of San Paolo. It is one of the beaches of Ilhabela settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. For me the second best after Fome beach of the ones I visited. It is quiet, you can swim I recommend it 100% clear water there is where to drink and eat the good thing is that you can bring your towel and you sit on the sand that I liked
