Oh, what a lovely day at the beach! The sunshine, the sand, the salty air – it's all so invigorating. Of course, it would be even more invigorating if I didn't have to take out a second mortgage to afford a measly bottle of water. And don't even get me started on the food prices – I think I saw a lobster roll listed for the same price as a small car. But let's not dwell on the negatives, shall we? The beach itself was quite nice, if a bit in need of some TLC. I mean, I don't think I've ever seen so many cigarette butts in one place before. And while I appreciate the laissez-faire attitude towards beach security, I do think it would be nice to have a little peace of mind while I'm trying to enjoy my day in the sun. As for the service – well, let's just say it's a good thing I brought my own sunscreen.
