It is one of the beaches of Olinda settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. A place where you can go to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Or, in this case, the sounds of screaming children and blaring music. And as for the cleanliness? Well, let's just say you might want to bring some hand sanitizer. But hey, at least you'll have a story to tell about the time you went to the beach and it was more chaotic than Times Square.

This is a great spot, as people of all ages can be seen strolling on the boardwalk with their furry friends. The benches have recently been repainted and look even more stunning. The beach offers a variety of sports classes and exercises suitable for all ages, including seniors. It's a refreshing change from the beaches in Recife, which are notorious for their high shark population. The sea is tranquil and the water has a pleasant hue, perhaps due to the presence of sea vegetation.

The allure of this petite beach lies in its remote location, which deters large crowds from gathering. On weekends, you may spot some neighborhood boys playing soccer amidst the serene surroundings. To access the beach, you must traverse over sizable boulders from either direction, as only a handful of homes boast direct entry through their backyard walls. During low tide, you can observe intriguing ancient walls both on the shore and in the water. While the locals make an effort to maintain its cleanliness, the beach is often marred with litter.
