The water at the beach is fantastic and it's a lovely spot to relax. However, I would recommend avoiding weekends as it can get quite busy. Additionally, I had a negative experience with people smoking weed which made me feel unwell.
The beach in Salvador is a fantastic spot to soak up the sun! It's a popular destination, so expect crowds on weekends. Immerse yourself in the local culture by indulging in some refreshing drinks, savoring an acarajé, and taking a dip in the ocean. It's the perfect way to unwind! You'll also find plenty of restaurants nearby where you can sample the delicious local cuisine.
I had the pleasure of visiting the beach in May and it was an absolute delight. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it to others.
The beach at Loe is perfect for those who enjoy a simple dive or swim. However, it tends to be crowded with Bahian tourists and lacks international tourism.
The beach is absolutely stunning! On weekends, the street is closed off for visitors to explore the local community and enjoy shows and performances. Everything you need is within a two-minute walk, including chair and umbrella rentals and the option to order a bucket of beer without ever leaving the sand. There are also plenty of street vendors selling delicious food, refreshing drinks, and other items. However, it's important to be mindful of your surroundings and not leave your valuables unattended on the beach while traveling.
