It is one of the beaches of Trancoso settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This so-called "wonderful" beach in Trancoso may have a decent infrastructure with plenty of restaurants, but don't be fooled by the hype. The exorbitant prices of their food and drinks will leave you feeling robbed and salty, and not just from the ocean.
