It's hard to put into words the beauty of Barra do Cahy. The road leading up to the beach may be dirt with a few potholes, but it's nothing that a regular car can't handle. We opted for Fox and had no issues getting there. Once we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning scenery. The ocean waves were rough, but that only added to the charm of this hidden gem. After walking about 800 meters, we stumbled upon a river and a landmark that signified the arrival of the Portuguese. Our stay at Muzuko Beach Bar was nothing short of perfect, with exceptional service that made us feel right at home. If you're planning a trip to the south of Bahia, Barra do Cahy is a must-visit destination. Trust us, the beauty of this place is off the charts!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Praia da Barra do Cahy. The beach offers two wonderful accommodation options, and I decided to go with the Gloria Restaurant. I was delighted with my decision as the food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. What makes this beach even more special is the memorial dedicated to the Portuguese arrival in Brazil. In addition to this historical landmark, the beach boasts calm waters with gentle waves and a shallow river that flows into the sea, providing warm water for all to enjoy. The beautiful cliffs and abundance of coconut trees only add to the natural beauty of this stunning beach. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Praia da Barra do Cahy for a relaxing and enjoyable beach experience.
The beach was truly remarkable with its pristine, unspoiled sand that was a delight to behold. The refreshing river that flowed into the sea provided a unique experience of running up and down its cool, sweet waters. The overall ambiance of the beach was serene and tranquil, making it the perfect spot to unwind and relax.
This beach is an absolute gem, a cozy and inviting spot that is perfect for spending a few hours in the sun. The scenery is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of both the sea and the river. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach or take a dip in the water, this place has it all. And if you're looking to stay a little longer, there are plenty of options for accommodations nearby. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful spot - it's definitely worth the trip!
It's fascinating to learn about the historical significance of this beach, but let's be real, there are far more stunning stretches of coastline to explore in this area. Don't waste your time here if you're looking for breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters.
