It is one of the beaches of Rio das Ostras settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

It's a peaceful spot, but make sure to bring your own umbrella since there's no shade available. Additionally, there aren't any vendors around, so it's best to bring your own refreshments in a cooler or styrofoam container.

The beach is absolutely stunning with its sand. However, during my visit, the sea was rough which may not be suitable for children. Despite that, the beach was very peaceful and not crowded at all.

To be honest, I didn't enjoy it much. The beaches were quite unpleasant and not suitable for swimming. The sea was rough, and the sand strips were short. However, it's worth noting that the beach does have beautiful golden sand.
