Boi Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 262th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 68.5 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Itacurussa settlement, just 3.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Boi Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.
