It is one of the beaches of Paraty Mirim settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The trail to the beach is peaceful and serene, with the first stop being Praia do Benê. Continuing along the trail, you will come across Praia do Furado, which is located right next to Praia do Benê. The best part is that entry to the beach is free for the public. During my hike, I experienced both rain and sunshine, which made the journey even more enjoyable.

I visited this beach during the pandemic and was pleased to find that there were no vendors or shops open. Despite this, the beach was stunning with a serene and picturesque sea. Additionally, the beach has free public entry, making it an even more attractive destination. I particularly enjoyed taking a leisurely 20-minute walk along the beach.
