Galeta Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 132th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 158.5 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Vila Oratorio settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Galeta Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

I had an incredible experience at a secluded beach! You can reach it by either boat or hiking trail, and if you choose to take the boat, it can be hired from Praia do Meio in Trindade for around 400 dollars for a group of 4-6 people. The beach is absolutely stunning, and there is even a picnic area and a freshwater spout to enjoy. Additionally, the trail to the natural pool of Galeda is a must-see and truly amazing.

The only way to reach this tranquil oasis is by boat, adding to the allure of this pristine beach. Although, it's unfortunate that some visitors bring along their sound boxes, disrupting the serene sounds of nature with loud music. Nonetheless, Paradise Beach is a must-visit for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Oh, what a delightfully charming beach we have here! It's definitely one of the most stunning spots in Paraty, and you can reach it in just 20 minutes by boat from Trindade beach. It's a must-see destination for sure! Just a heads up, though, there's not really any infrastructure around, so make sure to pack all the necessities like water and other essentials for your beach day. But, fear not, there's a quaint little trail that leads to a breathtaking natural pool. So, take a deep breath, bask in the sun, and enjoy this little piece of paradise!
