The northern tip of Ilha Comprida, where the Ribeira de Iguape River converges with the Mar Pequeno and the vast Atlantic Ocean, is a sight to behold. Unfortunately, the once-beautiful beach has fallen victim to real estate greed, with developers recklessly building on the delicate dunes and exacerbating the damage caused by Valo Grande. It's a shame that such a stunning location has been marred by the ruins, rubble, and lifeless vegetation that now litter the area. As a result, this beach is no longer a suitable spot for swimming or sunbathing. It's a stark reminder of the devastating impact that human activity can have on the natural world.
