It is one of the beaches of Sao Miguel settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This petite beach is adorned with an array of rocks and seaweed, creating a picturesque scene to behold. However, it may not be the most ideal spot for a refreshing swim due to the abundance of debris. Despite this, I still rate it four stars, acknowledging the untidiness of the area. It's worth noting that some visitors seem to have the misguided notion that nature is responsible for cleaning up after them, but we all have a responsibility to keep our environment clean and pristine.
