Sepultura Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 122th place out of 238 beaches in the Santa Catarina region 51 km away from its center, the city of Florianopolis. It is one of the beaches of Bombinhas settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach was a huge disappointment, and I cannot understand why people rave about it. Despite being surrounded by stunning locations, this one was the last place I wanted to be. The parking was expensive and difficult to find, and the narrow street leading to the beach caused us to be stuck in traffic for an hour to cover just one kilometer. The beach itself was small and overcrowded. I left feeling let down and frustrated. I would not recommend wasting your time here when there are so many other beautiful beaches nearby Bombinhas.
