Santa Marta Lighthouse Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 94th place out of 238 beaches in the Santa Catarina region 114.4 km away from its center, the city of Florianopolis. It is one of the beaches of Farol de Santa Marta settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

There is sewage on the beach, so it's best to head towards the lighthouse and to the other side. The restaurants on Rua da Prainha are good, but the prices are a bit high.

This beach boasts excellent infrastructure compared to others near the lighthouse, with a grocery store, pharmacy, inns, and restaurants all located nearby. Visitors can even use the parking lot for a small fee of R$5.00 and take advantage of the showers. It's a great spot for walking and sunbathing, but be aware that the water can be unsuitable for swimming at times. In the winter, you can witness a lot of mullet fishing right in front of the beach.
