Playa de Galizano is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 8th place out of 80 beaches in the Cantabria region 10.9 km away from its center, the city of Santander. It is one of the beaches of Galizano settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa de Galizano coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Gorgeous shoreline, among the top choices in the region, stunning during both low and high tide. Easily reachable by a 5-minute walk, with complimentary parking available nearby. While there is a beachside establishment, it falls short of expectations. I would recommend sticking to canned beverages like soda or beer, as the cocktails are lacking in quality. Additionally, restroom facilities are available on-site.

Ideal spot for a family day out or a peaceful getaway with your loved one. Placing your towel near the water's edge may require you to relocate it as the tide comes in swiftly. In all honesty, I found this beach to be among the most stunning and secluded in the vicinity. Additionally, there is a beachside bar and complimentary parking, which are both highly convenient amenities.
