Tucked away at the end of a small street. It's best to visit early in the day, as the sun sets quickly. The natural swimming pool is a sight to behold!
Visiting Charco del Viento is an absolute must. It's one of those natural pools you won't want to miss. Be aware that the sea can be quite rough, so it's best to keep an eye on the tide. Even so, the view is absolutely worth it. During the week, the parking lot is usually quite empty, but it might be different on the weekend. If you'd like to take a walk along the coast, you can try parking further east around Charco del Verde/Playa Salvaje.
The sea can be an intimidating force, and one look at the shoreline will make that clear. Although a dip in the ocean may be tempting, the waves can be too dangerous to take a chance. However, the breathtaking views are worth the visit, as the power of the sea is undeniable.
The drive to get to this beach is a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it for the views. However, the water is not as warm as one might expect and the waves are quite strong, so caution must be taken. It's more of a place for taking pictures than swimming, and I would recommend going when the sun is at its highest.
The Atlantic ocean is a sight to behold! The waves crashing against the volcanic rocks is a view that cannot be missed. But beware! The roads are quite narrow and full of banana plantations, so drive with caution. It's an experience that's worth going for!
