Playa La Ballena is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 122th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 48.8 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of La Estrella settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a tiny bay with green pure water and brown sand & rocks cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This small beach is perfect for kids and dog owners alike. It's close to the road and is sheltered from the wind, making it a great spot for the kids to splash around in the shallow waters. Unfortunately, there is no shade or toilet facilities available.
