Playa De Los Abriguitos is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 88th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 31.7 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of Abades settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a small bay with green pure water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This trendy beach is one of the most popular swimming spots in the area, and it's easy to get to! It's so popular that it's even been used to make movies - on October 19th, 2022, the beach was taken over by a movie crew and actors, and access was restricted due to the filming. Even if you're not a swimmer, you can still enjoy the beach, as it's within walking distance of the ruins of the sanatorium.

Playa De Los Abriguitos is a great spot for snorkeling on days when there isn't much wind. However, it can get quite busy on weekends when people from the North come, so be aware that parking can be hard to find in the small town. Fortunately, the beach is still easy to access.

This place is a great place to relax and unwind. It's peaceful and not overly crowded, and the sand is a beautiful shade of brown. Perfect for a quiet day by the sea.

Far from ideal - not nearly as sandy as I'd hoped. Even so, I still love it. There are a few stores and bars nearby, and a large car park. All in all, it's a decent spot, but not as beautiful as it could be.

This beach near Abades is an absolute paradise! The bay is simply wonderful, with its crystal clear and shallow waters and sheltered environment. It's the perfect place to take a dip and enjoy the splendor of nature. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a mask and snorkel or scuba dive and you'll be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of the underwater world. This ocean is home to some of the world's most endangered species, so it's a great way to appreciate the wonders of the sea.
