I've been to Playa del Medio four times, all of which I spent in Hotel Jardin Tecina. It's a 40-minute walk from the hotel to the beach, but you can also rent a bike or drive if you prefer. The road is quite narrow in some areas, so you have to be careful when passing other cars. The beach has a rather laid-back atmosphere and the people there are friendly. You can sunbathe on the pebbles that have been warmed by the sun, or go for a swim (some people go nude, while others wear swimsuits). If you want to sunbathe nude, there are a few semi-circle wind breaks made from pebbles that provide a bit of privacy. Lizards also live among the pebbles and you can feed them with bananas or apples. Just be careful, as they may mistake your fingers for fruit. On windy days, the waves and currents

This secluded beach is like a little corner of paradise, with the sun shining down and not a care in the world. The added bonus is that there is no mobile coverage, allowing you to truly get away from it all. The sand is a beautiful golden hue and the shoreline is lined with gray fine pebbles, making for a perfect day of relaxation.
The last part of the route is a single track road with few, if any, opportunities to pass. The parking is limited, so you'd better arrive early. made up of stones and black sand, so if you're looking for a soft, sandy surface this isn't the place for you. The pebbles in the shallows can be a bit of a nuisance, as they will wash over your feet and potentially cause cuts. There were two camper vans and a couple of small tents when we arrived - a popular spot to get a nice tan! Busier than we expected, but it's a great place to spend the day.
The beach has large pebbles instead of sand, and the road access is narrow with few places to pass on the winding curves.
