Playa de San Gines is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 38th place out of 158 beaches in the Murcia region 47.6 km away from its center, the city of Murcia. It is one of the beaches of Isla Plana settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is fantastic with its sandy shores and there are some great beach restaurants nearby. Even during busy hours, it never gets too crowded. Snorkeling is quite enjoyable and there are some interesting sights to see underwater. The water remains shallow for a long distance, making it safe for all. Additionally, the beach is well-maintained and clean.
