Playa de las Covaticas is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 117th place out of 158 beaches in the Murcia region 54.7 km away from its center, the city of Murcia. It is one of the beaches of Canada de Gallego settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long bay with turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.
