The beach is very beautiful, but it's important to mention that there is limited space and only tenants/owners of the Urbanization can access it by car. It was visited in September and it was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, anchoring by boat is not possible as the buoys are reserved for members of the nautical club.

We have stayed at La Cala for three 15-day vacations and it is an amazing place. The beach is beautiful, perfect for cliff jumping, with clear water and a great restaurant. The evenings are very calm with a peaceful atmosphere.

This beach is a fantastic spot for snorkeling in the bay. The scenery is beautiful and the drive to the cala from Tossa de Mar (south), San Feliu de Giuxols (north), or Gerona (inward) is breathtaking. In the summer, there is a blue platform in the bay where you can relax. The sand is a bit rough, transitioning to rounded boulders as you enter the water. It's a good idea to either start swimming early or wear water shoes. Showers are available along the sides of the beach.
