Cala Futadera is located on the Balearic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 29th place out of 189 beaches in the Girona region 29.2 km away from its center, the city of Girona. It is one of the beaches of Urbanitzacio Giverola settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Cala Futadera coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Nice place to take a break and unwind. The cala is accessible via a long and steep staircase. To get to the beach part of the cala, you have to traverse the rocks while the water is at hip level. It's a hot spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

Descending the 300 steps and clambering over rocks to reach this secluded beach is a laborious task, but the view that awaits you is worth the effort. There is a small ledge cut into the rocks on the right hand side, offering a great photo opportunity, but it's not an easy journey. To get there, you must park your car at the top of the road, and walk a good 400 metres down the slope, before tackling the stairs. It's a long and arduous journey, but the sight of the beach will make it all worthwhile.

This 'hidden' spot on the Costa Brava is anything but a secret - it's packed with people and boats. The beach itself is ok, but the sheer number of vessels moored there is simply too much for the environment. If you can make it down the steep stairs to the beach, you'll be rewarded with a view of too many boats for your liking.

This beach is a sight to behold, though accessing it can be a bit of a challenge. It requires traversing a steep set of stairs and wading through water, however the effort is well worth it. To ensure a hassle-free experience, it is best to arrive early and secure a parking spot along the roadside, as well as a spot on the beach.
