Platja de la Ribera is located on the Balearic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 68th place out of 86 beaches in the Castello Castellon region 24.3 km away from its center, the city of Castello de la Plana. It is one of the beaches of El Polido settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a small bay with green water and brown sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Beautiful to look at, but unfortunately it's not ideal for spending the whole day. The wind is incredibly strong, making it impossible to use a float or do anything in the sand without getting blown away. Even opening the fridge to get something is a challenge as the sand gets everywhere. Plus, it has free public entry, so it's worth a visit.

That place near Marina d'or is made up of pebbles rather than sand, so it's not ideal for families with small children. Despite this, it remains surprisingly deserted even during the high season.

Platja de la Ribera is a natural gem with fascinating fossilized dunes. With a bit of extra attention from local authorities, it could be absolutely stunning. It's a great place to take a stroll and admire the scenery, and the rocky shoreline is perfect for those looking for a peaceful seaside escape.

I won't be coming back to this beach, as I don't understand why hunting is allowed but dogs and litter aren't. It seems like a strange contradiction to me. Humans sure can be strange sometimes.
