Platja de la Fossa is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 31th place out of 147 beaches in the Alicante region 59 km away from its center, the city of Alicante. It is one of the beaches of Calp settlement, just 2.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a long bay with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Platja de la Fossa coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. The Calpe letters are a great spot for a photo op, and the beach is a decent enough spot for a stroll if you don't mind the occasional person. The views are nice, but the beach was a bit too crowded for my taste. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area if you're looking for a bite to eat or a drink. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit, but don't expect too much.

Calpe is a delightful and tranquil spot (particularly in May!) and Playa de la Fossa is an incredible Costa Blanca shoreline. Exceptionally clear and spotless. Eateries, shops, and numerous different things close by.
