Mbotyi beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 73th place out of 73 beaches in the Eastern Cape region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Mbotyi beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.

When we traveled to South Africa we had a great time. It's important not to solely rely on Google Maps because it will steer you away from the road that passes by the tea plantation. Despite the road being a bit rough, it's definitely worth it. This place was the most incredible and one-of-a-kind spot we visited during our vacation. It's beautifully situated close to the ocean. The food at the restaurant is delicious, the breakfast is good, although the rooms are a bit outdated. However, the staff is extremely friendly.

In general, the Mbotyi river lodge is a truly enchanting destination! The main building offers a breathtaking view of both the river and the sea. The dinner and breakfast buffet are delicious. The location is ideal as there are numerous stunning waterfalls, cliffs, and beaches in the area. We had the opportunity to hike to Waterfall Bluff and Cathedral Rock, two extraordinary places that were easily accessible via a path. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for things to see and do in the area (such as the hike to waterfall bluff). We only wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend it to others!

Wow! The hospitality here is amazing. The food is delicious and the views are absolutely stunning! The gardens are also very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The manager is very attentive and involved. This beach is the ideal destination for a peaceful and relaxing getaway where you can fully enjoy the beauty of the beach.

This place is absolutely incredible and definitely worth a visit. It gives off a tropical island vibe and the service is top-notch. The manager is young but very involved and impressive. The staff is excellent, especially our hiking guide. The massage was fantastic and the bar and kitchen staff, as well as the food and drinks, were outstanding. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The roads can be challenging, but it's definitely worth the effort.
