Hon Mau II is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 40th place out of 53 beaches in the Kien Giang region 85.7 km away from its center, the city of Rach Gia. It is one of the beaches of Bai Gieng settlement, just 29.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Very pretty but so full of rubbish. Generous serving of food (inclusive of the tour). Beach is very shallow for a pretty good distance (15-20m). Nice breeze making it a good spot to nap. Not alot of fish so not worth snorkelling at.

White sand and emerald water. So nice beach! But the people here are very poor. Fisher is the main work and it depends on the weather.

So bad! I highly not recommend this island because the beach is deeply dirty, the food is too expensive and not tasty, the host is really annoying and not friendly! It has many flies; when I was sleeping, the flies swooped around my mouth ( Disgusting!!!!!)
