This beach is absolutely stunning with its picturesque scenery and pristine sand. However, there is a minor issue that could potentially hinder the overall experience. Upon arrival, the right side of the beach may appear unappealing and in need of some attention. It would be wonderful if the management could address this concern to ensure that visitors have the best possible time. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful and breathtaking escape. Don't just take my word for it, check out the photos and see for yourself!
The beach was stunning, with gentle waves and smooth, white sand. It's perfect for families with young children as the water is shallow. During my visit on January 16, 2023, I didn't spot any litter. The road leading to the beach was a bit rough, but it was worth it. Out of all the beaches I visited in Phu Quoc, this one was the most relaxing. Remember to tidy up after yourself to maintain the beach's cleanliness. I'd give it a 5 out of 5 rating!
Unfortunately, it seems that this particular beach in Vietnam is currently plagued with a significant amount of litter and plastic waste, making it quite unappealing for visitors seeking a pristine and picturesque seaside experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend this beach to others at this time. However, if efforts are made to clean up the area and restore its natural beauty, it could once again become a delightful destination for travelers to enjoy. Here's hoping that this will be the case in the future.
It's really disappointing to see litter strewn all over the place and polluted water flowing from the mainland into the sea. The beach clubs charge exorbitant prices and it's always crowded with buses full of Asian tourists who come here just to take pictures on an Instagram swing. It's disheartening to witness such a stunning location in such a sorry state, and it makes me concerned about the island's future. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a clean and enjoyable beach experience.
Personally, I don't think this is the best beach on Phu Quoc, especially during the pre-season. While the sand is indeed soft and white, there is a significant amount of litter scattered about, and the view is marred by the presence of motorboats, jet skis, and banana boats. Additionally, visitors are charged for the use of amenities such as swings, hammocks, and water. In my opinion, both Khem Beach and Keo Beach are superior options.
